Crockpot Christmas Crack

“`html

Have you ever dreamed of being one of those people who hands out homemade candy at Christmas, but secretly loathe those with that much time on their hands during the holidays? Well my friend, this recipe is for you. I’ve been making cookies, candies, treats and tasty things at Christmas time for two decades (sheesh I’m old), and never have I found a goodie that takes less time and effort than this Crockpot Christmas Crack.

This stuff is the easiest Christmas candy ever. EVER. You literally throw all the ingredients in a crockpot, wait a bit, stir, then drop blobs out onto wax paper to cool. Boom. Done. For the super fancy, you can drop the candy blobs into mini cupcake liners. Ooooooh, so very Martha, Betty, Paula, Ina of you!

Bonus. It tastes incredible. Peanuty chocolatey goodness. You’d swear it came from an upscale sweet shop. Double bonus. It makes a TON. You’ll be able to gift a bag to your neighbors, your co-workers, church small group, kids sports team, cashiers at the corner store, postman, hairdresser, in-laws, out-laws, the butcher, baker and the candlestick maker. Plus still have enough to leave some for Santa, and make yourself sick off what’s left.

Haha I need to know by Sunday

  3. This is a copy of a very popular crockpot candy recipe that I have used for years. Check out Mr. Bud Crockpot Candy. It is so much better than this!

    • Thank you Barbara. This is not a newly discovered recipe. Lol. I too have been using it for years. Plus for all the new comers, they have to join in order to get the full recipe. I don’t like to join blogs on someone else’s apron strings. Have a great evening and a safe Halloween.

  4. These little paper things you have them in on the picture. It’s paper right ? So is that ok. They will not stick to them ?

  5. I want to do them faster, so I use or make a double boiler and they are ready to drop on parchment in a few minutes. I melt all chocolate and then add nuts, either peanuts or pecans, I like toasted salted pecans better.

  6. Great candy!! I’ve made and helped me out one year…didn’t have enough cookies so I add the candy…big hit!!

  7. Question-you cook on low for 2 hours. Then stir. Do you then keep crockpot on low for 30 minutes or do you just let it sit in the crockpot (while OFF) for the 30 minutes? Thank you.

  8. Really good and easy to make. I use to make them every Christmas along with other goodies and hand out to friends and neighbors, did this for several years but not able to do it anymore. I sure miss my goodies and seeing happy faces when I passed them out.

  9. I know I saw this question asked but can you use mini cupcake liners and will the candy stick to them. Please let me know before I make this recipe. Thank you
