  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar for rolling
  • 48 Hershey Kiss candies (unwrapped)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter, peanut butter, and sugars. Add vanilla and mix well.
  2. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture, mixing until well combined.
  4. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place onto a non-stick baking mat.
  5. Refrigerate the cookies for 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Bake the cookies for about 8 minutes. Avoid overbaking to keep them soft.
  8. As soon as the cookies come out of the oven, press a Hershey Kiss into the center of each cookie.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the pan for about 3 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Store the cookies in an airtight container to maintain freshness.

Tips for Success

  • Ensure your butter is softened but not melted for the perfect cookie texture.
  • Chilling the dough helps to prevent the cookies from spreading too much in the oven.
  • Press the Hershey Kisses into the cookies immediately after baking for the best sticking result.

Additional Tips or Variations

  • For a festive twist, roll the cookie dough in colored sugar before baking.
  • Try using different flavored chocolate candies for a unique taste.
  • Add a pinch of cinnamon to the dough for a warm, spiced flavor.

  1. Easier peanut butter blossoms:
    1 egg
    1 cup of peanut butter
    1 cup of sugar!!!
    THATS IT!!!!
I usually make 4 times this amount for about 56 cookies
Take a watermelon scooper drop them and then roll in sugar!
Bake at 375* for about 11-13 minutes depending on your oven! But cook until they all are cracking! Let them sit for about a minute on the cookie tray, then put kisses(or Reese cups) in center! (If cookies start to fall apart gently push back together) transfer to trays that you can leave them on over night (single layer) in cool place until the kisses harden up. I then put them in plastic containers with lids!!!
They are SO good and stay soft!
